After photographing outdoor projects for months, David Ryle began to miss the total control you have in a studio environment. 

Steam Portraits was his first series back in the studio, where he used moisture to add an interesting layer between the subject and his lens.

In Bodybuilder’s World, he digitally alters photographs to explore how ordinary situations would appear if we were all ripped.
